Haven't been hearing about US waging war with Iran much, lately.
Either the pansies that overwhelmed the Federal government -- and just implemented yet even more pork barrel policies -- have lightened up and saw that it was sheer folly or they're brewing yet another sinister plan to draw us all deeper in the muck.
The most moronic argument those jerkwads (that like to call themselves Republicans but are actually just neo-con pseudoaristocrats) came up with was to use a nuclear weapon called "bunker buster" so as to destroy the enemy (i.e. Iran's) facilities that are supposedly hidden deep underground in Isfahan and the surrounding province. Skipping over the fact that nuking a country to prevent it from developing nukes is a hard one to swallow (not hard for most geographically impaired Americans) we must ponder on the possible consequences for the use of a small nuclear device on bunkers and hidden underground chemical weapons caches : nuclear weapons emit radiations and those radiation would affect areas AROUND Iran. What are those areas around Iran? Well, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India... How would the peoples affected by the fall-out react? Newsflash : that area is one hotbed for Muslim Anti-US extremists. Check out the possible damages. And that's just the physical damage...
This is a scientific calculation, not some dreamed-up fallacy by some fancy, smarmy neo-con with a bowtie that lives in FantasyLand where cheap oil will always be available.
