It happened again. After almost 17 years. But, no of course we don't need gun control, its totally useless and a waste of money.
Four people wounded including three severely. Shooter still at large.

One death and many wounded. What seems like a standard Canadian dude. No terrorism or anti-feminist or whatever in the background for now. First report i heard talked of a rifle, thus the rant towards no gun control. Then i saw it was an assault rifle so i guess not much could have prevented this.
This makes me mad, sad and full of despair at the same time.
This is beyond tragic.
Gun Control, as you probably know, has little to do with that really sad thing that happened this afternoon, since it didn't involve hunting firearms, but prohibited ones which our beloved governement can't do a thing about...

While I agree that the gun registry wouldn't stop gangs and such to buy uzis and ak-47s to kill each other, the fact that this wacko may have gotten his gun legitimately makes me wonder if it could have prevented this. He was some troubled loner living with his mom; I highly doubt he'd have put much efforts to get such a gun on the black market or something.
