{~} (more) Finnish music videos you will never see on MTV {~}

People who know me personally know also that my main line of work is translation, and that my main line of research is also translation, specifically the use or translation for political means. One particular area of research that is very interesting is adaptation, meaning when one or more individuals will adapt narratives or genres from one culture to fit the narrative/genres of another (usually their own) and its parallel with adaptation in living beings, whether through natural or artificial selection.

In this particular case of adaptation, it is the Finnish punk band Ne Lummaët (The Lummakis) a quartet modeled on The Ramones, not playing covers of the über-famous NY band but rather developing the same kind of songs according to the Finnish milieu.

I have found only two non-live videoclips of Ne Lummaët on YouTube, here they are :
Onnelinnen Perhe (Happy family) NOT a Ramones cover.

Lentavän poika (Flying boy)
